Glass Screen Printing Inks
Roztar WGL Glass Screen Printing Inks are a two-component system for printing on coated and uncoated glass, bottles, aluminum, ceramics and metals. End uses include perfume bottles, cups, mugs and precious metals.
Properties
- Excellent adhesion to coated and uncoated glass and other specified substrates
- Fast curing and good ink-to-ink adhesion
- Pantone color matching, extra opaque white and high-gloss colors
- Solvent and alcohol resistance
- Good scuff and scratch resistance
- Resistance to fillings such as perfumes, solvents, oils and grease
- Low odour and heat resistance
- ITX and heavy-metal free
Curing
Touch-dry in 5–10 minutes at normal room temperature. Full through-curing takes approximately 24 hours, depending on ambient temperature, substrate and ink film thickness. The TDS specifies a heater tunnel at 180 degrees for 30 minutes for quick curing; confirm the temperature unit with the technical team before use. Adjust drying with the appropriate reducer or retarder.

Auxiliaries
- Viscosity reducer: maximum 20% addition
- Roztar reducer for normal drying
- Roztar retarder for slow drying
- Roztar hardener: 5–10% for adhesion
- Roztar cleaning solvents for screens and equipment
Storage and handling
Store away from direct sunlight at 10–20°C. Under these conditions, the TDS specifies a shelf life of 12 months from manufacture. Use gloves and eye protection and avoid skin and eye contact.
